The Rae Trail is north of Holland, Manitoba. There are miles of ATV trails there and thanks to them, we managed to get lost a couple of times. We walked more than 12 miles that day.
No hike would be complete without a picnic. On this hike we managed to have two of them. The thing is, if you eat your food your backpack becomes lighter.

This was where a big chunk of land slid down the bank. The soil here is very sandy.
I'm taking a much-needed rest.
We could have slid down here on the sand but that would have meant climbing back up.
